WHO'S BEHIND MBC 4X4 SOLUTIONS
MBC 4X4 Solutions is run by Mitchell “Mitch” Cox — a Certificate III qualified automotive mechanic with around fifteen years deep in the Australian 4WD industry. Ten of those years were at ARB Bendigo, working through the bench as a mechanic, accessory fitter, dyno tuner and premium 4WD salesman. The last five-plus years have been MBC 4X4 Solutions.
He started MBC 4×4 Solutions because Bendigo needed something the chain stores can’t offer — a workshop where the same person who quotes the job sources the parts, fits them, hands the vehicle back, and is still on the phone three years later when something goes sideways 600 kilometres from anywhere.

Do you stamp my 4WD's logbook when you service it?
Yes — every routine service at MBC includes a logbook stamp. It’s a written record of what was done, when it was done, and the kilometre reading at the time. You’ll also leave with a fresh service sticker on the windscreen showing your next due date and kilometres, so there’s no guesswork about when the 4WD’s due to come around for its next visit. Clean service history, kept up to date, every visit.
Where's the workshop and can I drop in?
MBC is a private workshop in Bendigo and operates by appointment — that’s how Mitch keeps the work personal and the timelines honest. The exact address is shared once an enquiry is in. What's the lead time on a build?
It depends on what’s on the bench or in the workshop at the time. Some builds get completed within a week or two; bigger touring fitouts and competition winch builds need more lead time. Tell Mitch your dates — if he can hit them he’ll say yes, and if he can’t he’ll say so straight. No optimistic timelines that fall over.
Do you sell parts online?
No. MBC is a one-on-one install service, not a parts shop. The value is in the build advice, the install and the long-term aftercare — not in shipping a bull bar in a box. If you want a part fitted, sourced and stood behind, that’s the conversation.
